CUSD Student Handbook
The Student Handbook lists important site and district policies, programs, and expectations. It is imperative that students AND parents are informed of this information. Please take some time to thoroughly review the handbook with your student so that they are familiar with expectations.
Art
Masterpiece
Art Masterpiece is an enrichment program where volunteers use reproductions of fine works of art to promote art literacy in children. Art is an integral part of life and the Art Masterpiece Program is a chance to stimulate the students' thought, perception and imagination.
In the end, students attain a greater awareness of the world around them. Volunteers called "Art Guides" bring prints to the classroom and present a lesson and art activity planned for a particular grade level.
Volunteer Information
Parents and community members are welcomed and encouraged to actively participate in their child's educational process at CTA Goodman. Opportunities for involvement include helping teachers within the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or with workroom duties.
All volunteers at CTA Goodman are required to complete a CUSD Volunteer Information Form and Overview of Policies. Please visit our volunteering page for forms and requirement information.
